Your iPhone can work as a magnifying glass! You need an iPhone 12 Pro and above with iOS 16 | How-to

First of all, take a screenshot.

Then tap on the thumbnail in the corner of the screen.

On the editing screen, press on the plus icon on the bottom right.

Here, choose the ‘Magnifier’ from the list. It will give you a magnifying glass to add to the screenshot.

The blue dot increases the size of the circle while the yellow dot increases the zoom.

Once you are happy with the final result, you can save. And that’s all!

There is another way too. On your iPhone, open the Magnifier app. If you don't see the Magnifier app, on the Home Screen, swipe down and search for Magnifier.

Magnifier can make an object easier to see by zooming in, applying colour filters, adding light with the flashlight, and adjusting the brightness or contrast of the image without taking an image.

Not just this, you can use iPhone's Magnifying app to detect people and doors! This way, you can use a Magnifier to detect people and help you maintain a physical or social distance between others. When your iPhone detects people nearby, you will be notified with sounds, speech, or haptic feedback. However, you must note that the notifications are more frequent when a person is closer to you.

Similarly, you can use a Magnifier to locate a door or entryway, understand how far you're standing from the door, even figure out how to open the door and anticipate which way it might swing open, and read any signs or labels on or around the door. However, you will need an iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max, or later Pro model with iOS 16 or later to try this feature.
