Intel has now started the product discontinuance process for its 11th Gen Core series.
The 11th Gen Core “Rocket Lake-S” series are now on their final path. Intel has issued “Product Change Notification” earlier this week informing about the upcoming change. This affects a variety of desktop and workstation CPUs based on this architecture. Best Electronic Components Suppliers
Discontinuance process has started on February 6th, but this does not mean Intel has ended the life of their 11th Gen series just yet. This process takes months, in this case a year before the final shipment of said CPUs will be delivered (February 23, 2024):

The flagship Core i9-11900K processor was released in 2 years ago and has been the last desktop 14nm processor to launch before the company shifted to a new platform. This processor offered 8 cores and 16 threads and had a boost clock of 5.3 GHz. It was also the first CPU to offer Thermal Velocity Boost.
Along with 11th Gen Core-S, Intel is starting EOL process for its Xeon Workstation series based on the same architecture. Furthermore, Intel 400 and 500 series chipsets are also joining the list. This means that next year Intel desktop offer only be based on LGA1700 series, and whatever comes after that.
