Taking to the Facebook group Mums Who Clean, one mum asked for tips on cleaning roller blinds in her kitchen.

“Hey, Mums! Any tips on cleaning roller blinds? We have them in every room, but the kitchen ones are particularly grubby from food splashes, etc. Thanks! ” she said.

While many mums were quick to offer tips, there was one solution worked better than the rest: Aldi Mould Away.

Reporting back to the group with an 'after' picture of her blinds, they look good as new.

“Hey everyone! This is the after photo," she said. " Unfortunately, dish soap and spray and wipe wouldn't cut it, and I was reluctant to take them down as I just wanted to spot clean them. The only thing that worked easily with minimal effort was Aldi Mould Away. T hanks for all the suggestions, everyone! ”

Fabric roller blinds might be a little trickier to clean than vinyl ones. But it’s not impossible.

To remove stains from fabric blinds, it’s important to check the care instructions and choose a stain remover that won’t damage the type of fabric. You can use a soft toothbrush to gently scrub the spot to help lift the stain.

Always read the labels of the cleaning products you are using. And if in doubt, ask your manufacturer how they recommend cleaning fabric roller blinds.

It’s easy to forget to clean your roller blinds, but the longer you leave it, the harder the job will be.

Try to remember to add them to your cleaning schedule every few weeks.
