PLEASURES Zellerfeld 3D-Printed Tank Shoe Release Date | Hypebeast

When it comes to innovation in footwear, 3D-printing has played a key role in the past decade. adidas brought the technology to midsoles for the masses while Zellerfeld has taken things to the next level with its completely 3D-printed designs. Teaming up with a range of collaborators across recent years, the unique platform continues to expand its portfolio of silhouettes by teaming up with Los Angeles-based streetwear label PLEASURES.

Drawing inspiration from cult-favorite anime Neon Genesis Evangelion — a series often reinterpreted through a fashion lens — the 3D Tank Shoe has been created. Arriving in black, its design elements loosely connect to Evangelion Units with ridges protruding from each side and indents at the upper. Its outsole features strong linework alongside embossed PLEASURES text that matches the tongue branding. Each pair is made to order with options for adjusting width, snugness and cushioning.
